Well I do for the bad look, but the movie itself we probably won't ever know if it was going to be good with what David Ayer wanted. We didn't get the movie he made, he said it himself. His version was darker and he said they shot more than twice as much footage with the Joker than what ended up in the movie. WB gave the footage to the same company that made the comedic trailers with the fun songs, and let them make their own cut of the movie. And they decided to go with that instead of using what the Director made. And I'm also pretty sure that originally Joker was going to be the antagonist, but they changed it for some reason I cant remember. He did the "I'm a psycho who will just kill you or hurt you and laugh about it" part of the character well. Maybe better than any one else. Writing? Story? Editing? Its hard to say what Leto was dealt and what Leto played. that movie was such a cluster fuck From a hundred different angles. But at the end of the day his actions behind the scenes are telling to me.
