I love showers, always have. I could stand in a shower for hours, but I lived in CA with a drought, so I general don't take more then 10 minutes. If I was rich, I would get a MEGA shower that had nozzles from all angles above and behind and I would take 5 showers a day.

Anyway, off to shower.

I take long showers. My stepdad use to get mad. But now, no one cares. Plus, I never even get to my minimum amount of water use unless something floods...

I tend to try andkeep em under 10 minutes on average, but yeah, I love long ones and sometimes like today I go a bit over (also was my second shower today lol).

Then again I was gone a week, so all that shower time I didn't use !!! Muahahah.

Use in at a gym. I go to the base gym. And I could take a 30 minute one if I wanted. I could probably take an hour long one and no one would care...

I generally don't like standing for to long unless I must so I'm quick in showers.

Not worth the hassle for just 10 minutes at the most. If I wanted to sit it wouldn't be in a shower.

Nah I have had built in shower seats, I never use them. I actually hate sitting in a shower lol, it feels wrong.

I have to stand in one...I like the water hot, almost to the point of pain but not quite....it just relaxes me, the sound is calming and I almost go into a state of meditation.

I may move sometime in the near future, and....I think my number 1 priority is going to be a really good shower, or possibly the ability to have a really good shower built/put in (I pay for the upgrade, but the owner gets to keep it when I leave etc).

Second will be a gas stove, I'm so over electric stoves.

Well the #1 priority will be somewhere that is close toplaces I like to eat actually lol.

I never really used mine, either. Well, for sitting, at least. It was built it, as well. I used it to hold stuff I used in the shower. And I like my showers like that, as well. Super hot. I also like hot tubs...

Why are you over gas stoves. I have one, as well. But I don't really like having the extra bill. Not having a gas bill would be nice. But I don't really notice the difference much. My mom does, though. She says she like electric more for when she's baking...

I'm not over gas stoves, i'm over electric ones (hate them), gas is so much better...and I have had them most of my adult life. I have had electric stoves since selling my house though and they SUCK heh.

Don't know any way electric is better tbh.....but maybe thats just cause i'm so used to gas. As far as cost, my gas bill was always very low, and I had a gas fireplace and heater etc as well....gas is cheap.

Sorry. I meant over electric. Haha. I was writing while tired last night. As for why electric is suppose to be better. I think it may have something to do with speed, or maybe precision. Or possibly safety. Like for gas leaks. Not to mention, I probably dont have to worry about my gas being shut off because of a possible gas leak. Im glad they are doing their best to save your life. But when they shut it off and send someone over, but Im at work, it sucks that my gas is now off until I have free time or a day off.

For the bill, its not very expensive, but it still has a cost. Which sucks because until I get the new job, Im always just barely scraping by. Especially since my roommates having a little financial issue...

Currently, I use gas for heat, hot water, and my stove. I wont be sad if the next house I move into doesnt need gas, tbh...

Well blah, you made me remember a problem with gas stoves *sigh*. I would forget to turn them off sometimes, even if that didn't happen often, it was dangerous. Still worth it though, I just need to be careful.

Never had them turn off my gas though, over 20+ years of having a gas stove. The cost is fairly close to that of electricity for using the stove at least (I mean it was so cheap and I had a gas fireplace etc as well).

You actually get more control for gas (Alot more) at least once you get used to it. It's probably hard for someone who hasn't used gas much because you don't have a feel for how high to turn it, but electric often doesn't have nearly as good control over the heat.....which is annoying if your cooking certain foods.

The induction one I had briefly 2 places ago, was the worst though, no real control over the temp at all, it sucked. There are also different quality of electric stoves....some are much worse then others. The one where I live now isn't too bad, but the last place I lived was horrid (It was only $395 a month though so you get what you pay for).

Anyway I don't really cook that much anymore, I probably would cook more with a gas stove, but....probably not that much more. I'm lazy and uber eats is too easy lol.

Yeah. Not turning it off can be dangerous. For me, they turn my gas off when they think there is a leak. Happened a couple of times just when they thought something. And once or twice when my water was leaking and the gas was trying to constantly heat up water. Which means both my gas and water bill were high...

For me, Id rather get rid of the bill altogether and just pay the one electric bill, if possible. Paying only one of those instead of both would be better. Even if its not a lot per month, it does add up...

I dont mind having a little less precision, because most of the food I cook, I bake anyway. I rarely use the stove tops for things except like pasta and save, and maybe a few other things...

Idk about the quality. The one my mom had was really good. But I think it was one of the newer models at the time. So, she seems to like it. And more than gas ones.

Also, for gas ones, you have to make sure the house it built with one, as well... But electric ones should work most places.

Personally, I dont See gas stoves as bad or anything. And the one I have is fine. I just dont like the extra bill, the fact that it can kill you pretty easy, and when they shut it off...
