Skyrim's biggest problem is the vast majority of perks are a complete waste of points. Like we don't even need the lockpicking tree at all.

Yep!

You'll mostly want overhauls but the problem is they can be difficult to play/work with other mods. Requiem makes it overall more difficult and you need to focus more on specializaiton

But the problem is also that eventually you'll be too OP.
So maybe look at something like high level enemise or OBIS for bandits.
Also look into things like Combat Evolved, Ultimate Combat, Duel, etc

Stack Fortify effects for your damage type. It's a separate multiplicative bonus. Also, the difficulty selection in Skyrim is merely damage sliders for you and enemies. So just stick to the default if you're annoyed at the thought of a Draugr Deathlord having 1,000+ hitpoints and whatnot.

I had installed a mod called Revenge of the Enemies and it was very good but there were still some one-health enemies and even dragons. The other problem, I was experiencing an inn script that kept spamming and I'd have to clean the save every once in a while when it started crashing. Removed the mod and the script spam stopped. Later versions of the mod iirc have since gone to Special Edition.

What I'd recommend is play and when you find one of these enemies you can one shot, enable the console, click on it, get the name and search for it to see if it's a modded enemy
so press tidle key which is ~
to open the console (at least in the UK versions)
click on the enemy you just killed
type in "resurrect"
press the key again so it's no longer in the console, press the key again to get back to it
then click the enemy again and type in "getlevel" and "getav health"
You'll get the level and the health.
you'll also see the name of the enemy.
So in the console again, type in
help "________"
Where _______ is the name of the enemy.
You can use pgup and pgdn to scroll up/down. If any of the entries start with anything then (I think) ff or 03 then it's most likely a modded enemy. I think FF is a spawned enemy based on like level compared to yours so you'd still need to see where that enemy name came from if it was a mod
