The best thing I heard that you could buy some package that costed 27.000 dollars, but in order to be able to buy that package, you had to spend 1.000 dollars before that on something else.

I swear, this whole thing is like a goddamn ponzi scheme.

It's actually in a playable state, out of morbid curiosity I subbed to the SC subreddit and I see people posting their screenshots and sharing their experiences and stuff. Still nowhere near complete though.

The problem is that they dont have a fixed design plan for the game and are taking in users ideas to add into the game on top of making the next gen Crysis graphics.

I think it's beyond a ponzi scheme. I don't think people would really be throwing around this kind of money. It's gotta be like a front for human trafficking or something like that.

They are actually developing something though. I'm still doubtful it will turn out as previously advertised but I do think people are going to get a pretty large scale finished game.
