It seems that every "fight" in Part 3 and 4 has devolved into "Hurr just try to guess my one glaring weak point before my Stand fucking KILLS you"

At least fighting DIO had some physicality involved in it, in Part 4 the violence only really comes when people get the shit beat out of them once the weakness is found

At least that part still hasn't gotten old, people getting the shit beat out of them

I heard Part 5 and 6 crank this aspect of Stands up to 11, so maybe I should just jump straight to 7 where I heard they introduce some form of Not-Hamon

Part 4 is really slice-of-life, and it's annoying. A lot of the Stands are really dumb as well.

Part 5 has actual good fights, though, and I like that.

There is an Invincible stand in part 5.

I think this took you like a year lol. Anyway it's pretty much the opposite. Part 5 is where Araki goes back to fights being a lot of back-and-forths like part 2 again rather than "protagonist gets constantly kicked around until they finds out the main weakness and then one-shot it" that 3 and 4 did. Pretty much every single enemy stand in part 5 is threatening whereas the majority of part 3 and 4 stands are fodder.
Also, Part 5 easily has the best soundtrack of them all. Giorno's theme is infamous.

i never cared for part 4
they keep meeting people who are trying to murder them and then easily forgive them because they failed at it
the actual villain of the season is about as bad as the hair girl who kidnapped a boy and tried to murder him when he turned out to not be the perfect boyfriend she pictured. the difference between him and her is she failed at murdering someone and he succeeded there fore she is a good person and deserves a happy ending and he is a bad guy O_o

basically its a cast full of sociopaths and i couldnt get invested in what happened to them.

I didnt mind that. Dragon Ball did basically the same thing. Pretty much all of the Z fighters other than Goku and the kids were either villains or at least his rival at some point.

Part 4 has great stands, yo. The bit of weird randomness can be off-putting for some, I'm sure, but I enjoyed it (especially gonzo stuff like Super Fly).
