-Phylliss wedding is another huge douche moment for Michael. He gets mad because Phylliss disabled father gets out of his wheelchair to try to walk her down the aisle, taking away the spotlight from Michael. Michael then tries to crash the reception.

-That episode where he kisses Oscar to show how hes ok with gay people

-The episode where he wants everyone to be creative and make a commercial, but then gets mad because their creativity isnt what he wants

I hate Scott's Tots. We rewatch the Office way more than a rational family would but we almost always skip that one and "The Farm."

Kicking the ladder out from underneath Daryl while he was reaching a high shelf and yelling Hey Daryl, how's it hanging?!

When he is in that lawsuit with Jan and they go on a lunch break. There is nowhere to sit except for with Toby and Toby invites him to sit with him and starts telling a personal story to try and relate with Michael, and then Michael just pushes his salad off the table and walks away.

I only realized recently, that much later in the show theres a brief scene where he calls the company and theres only a voice recording about them going out of business.

I read this theory about why Michael despises Toby so much, besides the whole hes technically corporate thing.

Michaels parents divorced when he was a child, and his father was never there for him. He just assumed that thats what happens when parents divorce. One of them just goes away.

So when Michael sees Toby, a divorced man, still trying to be there for his daughter it just reminds him that his father just never tried to be there for him.

Season 1 Michael was an asshole in every episode before they revamped his character.

But in the post revamp era, Scot's Tots is by far the worst.

When Pam sets him up with her landlord and he tries to skip out in her when she isn't hot enough. When that fails he spends the whole time talking about how hot Jan is and says Pam's landlord is like talking to a nice old lady on the boss

I thought Scott's Tots was funny, obviously in a dark way...

btw I think Scott's Tots is really cringey and it does make him a terrible person, I would say that in that case it is at least partially driven by a desire to do good and he does own up to it when really he doesn't have to. he's wrong but at least sympathetic

the thing that sticks out to me when michael is at his worst is that he is often not really sympathetic in any sense at all so i dont consider that one of his worst moments

When he poisoned that little kid so that Jessie would be forced to choose his side against the chicken guy.

You know, Michael never realized how good he had it with Toby. Toby was chill af. He could have reported Michael to corporate so many times and gotten him fired but he didnt.

I noticed that on my first watch lol. Although I guess I also didn't consider it one of his worst moments when he killed Prince Paper

I have trouble calling Prince paper one of his worst moments because left to his own devices he would have destroyed the evidence. If Dwight didn't intervene, nothing would have happened.

One that wasn't mentioned was him trashing that Woody doll out of jealousy because of Holly's boyfriend. It's not the most destructive thing he's done, but it is the most spiteful and the least driven out of some misguided attempt to do the right thing.
