During the fight with the Third and Orochimaru. when the third seals the arms portion of his soul, how is it it is reverted when he steals mystery guys body? I mean he stole the body, not the soul.

He also consumes the soul. Each host becomes part of Orochimaru. However, iirc, it's worth noting that his *full* power wasn't restored. Later on, I'm pretty sure he specifically reclaims the part of himself that was sealed away

Ah that's lazy writing. Also, another point of lazy writing is how some, if not most, episodes are half flash backs.
