Man, there's a good game inside Vampyr, but the execution and various design choices/oversights are starting to rear their ugly heads. I am close to reaching Chapter 5, so I'm hoping to be somewhere close to Chapter 6 before I go to bed.

I'm currently handing out candy for Trick-or-Treat, but I am pretty sure that I am at the final boss fight. I think I can do it!

ArkOfTurus has beaten Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Finally got the urge to play this an 40 minutes ago. Too late in the month to finish a Soma playthrough, but a Julius playthrough only took... well, 40 minutes.

I can't help but compare this to the Prey reboot in that there was a great game inside that finished product but severe flaws in critical areas prevented it from realizing its potential. That being said, I definitely enjoyed my time with this more than Prey, and I could see myself replaying it years down the line.

Anyone here who didn't play it this month but intends to do so in the near future, I recommend doing a first play through on story mode. It isn't because the game is very difficult or anything, but it is extremely frustrating as nearly everything seems to be designed to needlessly punish the player.

This is actually a great suggestion. Like KCF said, there is something interesting here but the game itself was so frustrating (and not even necessarily in a difficult way) that I just quit about halfway through and have had zero desire to go back.

Well, I just finished it too tonight, west coast time zone so I'm good and in under the wire...

Though I'm sure you actually beat the game before me so...

Anyway, cute game, dodging stamps seriously OP.
