The cinematography is great at times but basically everything else sucks. It's visually pleasing but the story is really bad.

I've seen almost all of Nolan's movies (with the WW2 one being the exception), and Interstellar is one of my least favorite of his.

It's, like, 4 good movies that don't add up to one great movie. I'm not a big fan of Nolan's big blockbusters in general. I think he does much better telling a more narrow story.

The only problems I had with it are the cuts back to Earth in the second half and the ending was too much.
