I've touched her before and she didn't care. She just didn't like it this time for this reason and in this situation specifically. And what defines a victim? The person that gets more upset at the situation? Is she the victim for being pushed? Or am I the victim for being bullied off my register then torn down for something with good intentions? I use the term touch as an overarching catch all term for all physical contact whether you touched, pushed, pinched, slapped, etc... As for who is the victim, sure you can try to claim that but the incident being described involved you deliberately touching a coworker who did not want you to be touching them. You can try to claim bullying and whatnot but honestly I probably would let it slide and learn from this experience to CYA. FWIW I have had a close call at work once when what I thought was harmless teasing was considered borderline bullying by the other person. Even though I meant it in jest, she didnt feel that way. I also would acknowledge that it sucks to be in your position where you may feel betrayed because this person who you once thought was a peer/equal/colleague pulls something like this on you.
