I really like Afterimage a lot so it's unfortunate it had to get a matchup like this. Coronetia Corn good. That it can pack so many memorable elements into a sub-minute-long package is a testament to this. Having said that, I'm really digging this mekazoo song. Tough call. Kirby's Return to Dream Land - Under My Control- I love the feeling that those moving ascending lines create in Potential for Anything....but I really love those rhythms of Under My Control at 0:39... (I don't know why they reminds me of Nintendo World Cup's music....) Plus the harmonies are consistently engaging, which I usually don't expect from Kirby music! I'm pretty much in awe. I really love those upward progression of notes starting at 0:16 that goes on throughout the whole song. The melody manages to be pretty decent on top of that, so that makes for a pretty good song! Under My Control is pretty cool, but I feel like there's something off about many of the parts that I enjoy that make me not enjoy them as much. 0:39 I feel is the best example of that since I can actually put into words what it is. With this, I feel like it overstays its welcome. Like it just goes on for a bit too long.
