I just never cared for LP channels. The only channel I watch that could be considered LP is NeebsGaming because of Ark SE and they script quite a bit.
I'd rather watch a friend IRL play a game than some random stranger on the internet.

I mean, Pat just literally uses his Youtube to dump several hour long stream VODs which are available on Twitch anyway, hes not making Youtube content anymore, hes full time on Twitch essentially. Woolie is the one thats still actually committed to making Youtube content but his LP partners are really not great and his actual LPs are a bunch of niche stuff so thats not surprising

Pat absolutely crushes them all in streaming though, which is a much more stable and lucrative revenue source than Youtube at this point. His regular streams get like 4-5x the viewers than any of the others, more donations, more subscribers, etc... Hell when he streamed the Game Awards he was hitting 10k+ concurrent viewers for nearly the whole thing while Liam was at 200 for the same event

Yeah Pats killin it at streaming. Wish they didnt split but we all knew it was inevitable.

Pat > Liam > Woolie > Matt

The problem is Pat isnt funny when hes being civil, which is all he does with Woolie and his girlfriend. He plays off people with Matts or Liams temperaments well, but now hes driven both of them away.

Woolie floats between boring intermediary and cringy weeb. Also, Minh is the fucking worst.

Meanwhile, while he was a whiny little bitch, which made him the worst member of SBFP, Matt now does primarily scripted or solo plays, making it so we dont need to deal with his attitude towards others. When he does team up, its with Liam, who raises his videos up by being way funnier than him and keeps Matts whining to a minimum by being a generally positive person.

Why did they split anyway? Creative differences?

Dont pay much attention to him but I heard hes back in school now, and he does some stuff with Matt i think but I dont watch either of their stuff.

tbh I watched some of his streams after he split and he really cant carry solo content, there was no way he was going to make a living streaming full time, his streams were always dead af, he would read donations/sub mmessages at the end but it was always so short because there was barely anything coming in and it was always the same 5-6 names. I distinctly remember him making a comment about doing taxes/tax brackets at one point in one of his streams and Im 100% sure he was making less than minimum wage streaming

I really like woolie when he's paired with Pat, but his solo channel content is very meh

All they said was that Matt and Pat were no longer friends and couldnt/didnt want to work together anymore so they stopped the channel. tbh the last like year they were active Matt was absolutely checked out of everything and literally ruined the podcast anytime he even bothered to show up (which was rarely) and basically dragged down every LP he was involved in. I skipped basically everything with Matt in it for a good 6-8 months before they split

It's sad because Pat and Woolie's content is far superior and Matt's analytical sound like a high schooler reading off a paper for a presentation

Matt didn't like Pat cuz of his attitude. Woolie was kinda the glue holding everyone together, but eventually Matt and Pat got in a huge argument and had enough. Woolie was kind of the intermediary. Matt got the channel (though it's now dead obviously) and Pat and Woolie got the podcast.

Most of that is pretty baseless speculation as none of them have really made any comments outside of the video they posted. Liam and Pat have both admitted they were never actually friends just work buddies at best and Liam admitted that the falling out between him and Pat was a mutual thing and that they both did things to cause it. Matt absolutely checked out after Liam left though and I can definitely see both Pat and Woolie not being cool with him putting in so little effort and still getting his cut. Matt created the channle so of course its still his but the Woolie and Pat didnt "get" the podcast, the podcast was always a thing that was run by Woolie so he and Pat decided to just keep working together on it after the split. As neutral as Woolie was trying to be in the whole thing its pretty telling that hes had basically no interaction with Matt (or Liam after Nier ended) since the split but still works regularly with Pat as has collabed on an LP and stream series with him. I think Matt phoning it in bothered him just as much tbh

Yeah, they were friends since CEGEP which is like a 1 year school thing between high school and Uni in Quebec, Matt and Woolie became friends later. And yeah, Woolie was the first one Matt asked to do the channel with him but Woolie wasnt into it and recommended Pat. Matt and Pat werent even really friends when the channel started, they had met through Woolie a couple times but neither liked the other all that much. They become friends as they worked together more but obviously that didnt last lol

I'm glad they kept it classy >_> Even when the channel crumbled, they put out this goodbye video with all of them in it with where each of them will be, with no animosity in it. As far as I know, they didn't badger each other on twitter either. The only incident was Liam trash talking Pat a few times, but that was it.

Woolie and Matt looked like they were about to cry while Pat was just stonefaced smug the whole time lol
