I have some free life insurance through a few different sources like my banks and employer. It's only like 5 grand total. But it's plenty ot burn me up and dump me somewhere. I'm not married and I don't have anyone on any of my accounts or a cosigner for my loans so if I kaput unexpectedly there isn't anyone who will be stuck with any of my debt. Not that I have a lot of debt. Just my car and a small personal loan from my bank that is mostly paid back already.

Nope. At 73 it's a sucker bet. If I win, I lose; if I lose, I lose. I'm counting on 20 more good years, at least.

Smarter to invest in my sports car collection, gun collection, videogame collection, etc. If I simultaneously run out of airspeed, altitude, and luck; my kids and grandkids can decide what to keep and what to sell.

Little point in it, since I don't have any family anymore. But I do have a limited pay whole life policy that my grandfather bought me when I was an infant. It was worth $5,000 back then, the premiums were paid off while I was still a kid and the dividends automatically go back into buying more insurance, so it's worth something like $20K now.
