Agreed.

Gaige in 2 with krieg a close 2nd and in pre I dont know Jack was the only one I was meh about. I loved everyone else and thats why it was my favorite.

In the first, I liked Brick or Roland. Regenerating ammo on Roland was really useful. Brick could refill health with his action skill.

Second, Maya with singularity phaselock and healing on top of that was really useful. Krieg was fun on bandits, but less useful when you started fighting lots of robots.

PS, I went with Wilhelm, he had the best action skill, two moving turrets.

if you mean objectively most effective, I have no idea. that would basically entail trying out every build on every character which I haven't even come close to doing.

in terms of favorite (in terms of IMO feels the best when I've played them):

BL1: easily Roland
BL2: easily Axton
Pre-Sequel: easily Athena

what I would love though is if they could somehow let us play as all the characters in all the games (especially let me play Athena through BL2)

I think hes just called Jack and his class was called doppelganger. Its been awhile so I could be wrong

Lilith in 1 for sure.

Two is actually much harder, especially if your talking about power. Sal is pretty freaking OP all around though and if your bad at borederlands Gaige was redonkulous lol (and probably did more damage then Sal even if your good....while having the best moving/portable turrent as well). I found her too easy though.

I enjoyed Maya and Zero the most I think in 2.

I didn't like pre-sequel much but Nisha was my fav cause I like the whole gunslinger thing.

Have not played 3 yet, but everything I have read/seen makes the summoner guy look like the best/easiest bet (Solo at least). All that hp regen is pretty insane + pet to help fight + tons of max health etc....seems crazy broken actually.

Personally I loved Zero in 2, and Aurelia in the pre-sequel. Although all of the characters were awesome in their own way.

I think technically Zer0, though it was more difficult getting the most out of him, so I'd go with Krieg for ridiculous Bloodsplosion chains and damn near inability to die.

For Pre-Sequel I'm less sure, but I'd figure Aurelia for a similar reason to Zer0.

My faves are Axton in BL2, and Wilhelm in BL: Pre-sequel. I love the utility.
