I just like him, I don't like him as a compromise or despite his flaws. I just legitimately like him as a good candidate and an authentic person.

He just comes across as super reasonable and authentic in long form interviews.

I'm probably voting for Trump, but the only democrat I would even consider voting for is Yang.
He doesn't seem fake as fuck or a DNC puppet.

Neither does Bernie, but I don't agree with his politics that much.

Going on H3H3, Joe Rogan,Ben Shapiro etc did a lot for his credibility.

He's full of shit and his policies are just as much of a lie as Trump's were and Obama's and Bush's he's there for the rich dicks like every other politician but unlike them, Yang is not known in the big business world, he thinks by appealing to losers and failures with free money they'll definitely never see he can get a win, he thinks by being the anti SJW, PC guy he can win, he's just another meme candidate like Ron Paul was

Just vote for Trump, you already know what you'll get with him, corporate ass kissing, twitter feuds and in the background his guys will get right to work empowering more corporations, more privatization, more government favoritism towards right wing Christians and 2 more right wing conservative judges to the supreme court.

Biden will give you this too only without the twitter feuds, aka the boring guy America doesn't care about boring Trump is entertainment no matter what. especially when he makes leftists cry

Nope. In a response to a direct question about this, he said that to help combat climate change charging for carbon emissions was necessary and that could theoretically impact the beef industry, in the same response he also said america is a free place an we should never try to tell others what to eat.

He is an authentic person if you watch any longform interview with him and although UBI is his central focus he has like 150 policies on his website each with a clear explanation of what an why.

"Decent authentic human" + "Many smart policy purposals" = Easily better than like every other politician

I implore you to research on the benefits of blockchain tech. One of the big breakthroughs of that field is smart contracts, where you can program a contract that will automate and execute based on an event that happens. If X, then Y. There are so many jobs that are based around verifying if "X" happened, if a payment went through (i.e. financial departments in every company or government office), if a vote was genuine for an election. Then on the flipside, there's a lot of work put into making sure Y happens or looking for partners who will do as they say. Back during Irma and Maria, there were a number of insurance companies that weaseled their way out of paying for the damages for the homes that were signed under them.

Smart contracts will automate ALL of this, completely stripping any human entity other than who is getting paid and from who. There literally won't be enough jobs available when the Fourth Industrial Revolution arrives in full force. Yang knows this and has acknowledged this revolution.

He caught my attention talking about automation in the Joe Rogan interview, but it's nowhere near as indepth as my post (and mine only scratches the surface). And I can tell he's aware given how he also accepts crypto as donations for his campaign.

This is why I've disregarded virtually all the other candidates. They have no clue what's coming and are going to get blindsided by one of the worst recessions combined with a complete disruption of the current financial system and a replacement of the US dollar as the world reserve currency. At that point, you might as well keep Trump in and let him become the scapegoat (Trump's policies did this!) for our financially illiterate and risk adverse folks to point fingers at while those of us that have done the research and taken steps to hedge against the fall smirk Burgessly.

He has only talked about automation in the broadest sense. Not the mechanism behind the automation, smart contracts. People mostly think of robots replacing jobs, but this is the true job killer.

Seeing the clip, I don't really think that's as positive as you're making it out to be. He's not like "Oh no. I'd never do that. It's wrong.". It's more like "If you wanted to do that it would indeed help the environment" but he doesn't commit it himself which means he knows if he committed to that it'd fuck him but at the same time he tries to pander to question asker. Which says to me he's just a typical politician. He says what he needs to say to get votes. Hardly some bastion of sticking up for what he believes in.

Yang needs to develop his platform more. He needs to have more to say in debates. His climate change combating strategy is solid, and his UBI plan does have grounds tho it'll probably be significantly different by the time it could get implemented (not too likely tbh). I still think he should just make Bernie his mentor and learn from him

You're thinking too small. Forget about the meat stuff which he probably wouldn't actually do. He plans to pay for the free money by taxing the fuck out of big tech companies. And that is not an exaggeration. He wants to tax them billions a year. Enjoy $15 songs off iTunes, $30 standard shipping rates on Amazon and $50 a month for Netflix.

He said that it would help us with emissions if people ate less beef, but he's not going to tell americans how to eat. He also just clarified that a carbon tax might impact beef prices.

That is a different story than "I'm going to tax beef to try to help change americans diets", which is what is being reported

He is not for any sort of beef tax or tax motivated to change america's eating habits.
