Poll of the Day > Welp. Got the results back from my testicle biopsy

As some of you may remember, I had to get my testicle removed.

It is seminoma stage 1B-PT2

So I have three options, a single round of radiation, a single round of chemo, or surveillance.

Surveillance is what the urologist recommends due to the health risks of the other two. So I will have to see him every 3 months for CT scans for two years then once a year after that.

As it stands now, I should be okay barring the results of the CT scan next friday

Radiation is expensive, not. As much as chemo, but it is pretty expensive. But the type of cancer and the low stage makes the urologist okay with just the surveillance

Surgery info so I am marking it as spoiler incase you dont wanna read it

the worst aspect of this is they went in from my pelvis area, down to the sack to lift up and out the teste from the top. So I have two incisions. One on the pelvic area that's about 5 1/2 inches long that is between my penis to hip and the other inside the sack inside on the top of it. The one on the pelvic area isnt that bad unless I bend over and my Jeans bunch up on it or something. But the one in the sack makes sitting up painful, which sucks with an office job.
