Note it's not justifying the lack of concern for men. It's pointing it out.

"An emphasis on women's underrepresentation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math roles (STEM) has not been matched by a similar concern about men's underrepresentation in Healthcare, Early Education, and Domestic roles (HEED)."

In other words, the people pretending to care about "diversity and inclusion" only care about it one way.

Men in healthcare make up most of the upper level positions though, I'd imagine. Board members, physicians, surgeons, stuff like that. Never mind the Dave that front desk reception and billing is overwhelmingly women and that falls within the healthcare industry.

Another good example is the sheer focus on breast cancer vs prostate cancer. One has a super high survival rate, the other, is basically the inverse...however one gets all the funding and attention, while the other is practically ignored.

Yes we did, because apparently some people are too blind to notice it otherwise. When was the last time you saw any mention of including more men in teaching positions? Maybe more schools need a Head of Diversity & Inclusion.

Or how men are far more likely to get injured at work, to commit suicidal, to be given harmful medicines for "ADD" when they're really just being energetic boys, etc.

Also, men who try and get care for breast cancer can face some hurdles. Where's that article from a few years ago about the guy who went to a breast cancer event that had free screenings and got declined due to being a man?

Well according to Diversity & Inclusion pundits, the massive disparity is in itself evidence that there are barriers. So pointless question by those standards.

There's a recent trend where men who go into fields that are children-centric are suspected to be pedophiles. Hardly anyone wants to put up with that kind of bullshit.

At my middle school, I work with 5 men and 34 women. Education has always been that way. Elementary is way worse.

Men should advocate for these things more. I know why we don't (we can be dumb) but that attitude really needs to change.

The moment you try to advocate for a mens issue, you get labeled negatively.

The reason they don't is because the narrative and media are completely dominated by just women's needs, and contesting that or trying to bring light to men's issues gets you labeled an MRA. Even when MRAs have valid points.

This problem will probably get much worse before it gets better. You already see a ton of boys checking out of school due to being neglected and punished more severely for the same bad behaviors due to biases against boys. Etc.

A lot of men going into female centric jobs are bullied for being unmanly or effeminate or outright called gay. And in the case of education, apparently every man is right on the tipping point of being a child molester.

This isn't really true. People turn on "MRA's" because the points they bring up are more retaliatory than actual concern. Most people talk about "toxic masculinity," which covers a lot of the issues you brought up here yet men are the ones who generally don't want to discuss these things. We don't go to the doctor, not because of the media, but because we don't want to be seen as weak. Things like that.

Nah, those things I mentioned are systemic issues caused by misandry. Society in general favors women in that regard. This study is an example of that.
