He wasn't anything bulky more on the lanky tall side with some muscles.

Doesn't ring a bell. The only thing that sounds familiar is the "he wouldn't lose if he were to fight" bit. From your description it might be a character from part 4 or 5, as prior part's characters were super jacked up.

This really sounds like Kira.
He directly said if I were to fight I would not lose.
He also tries to be an average joe (even though he doesnt look like one) and has his own theme song.

Problem is that his hair is blonde when he said it and his hair turns black/white later and is never reddish-brown.

This is directly the infamous introductory statement of Yoshikage Kira, someone whose motivational is to live a quiet life despite being burdened by a serial killer-y fetish.

Could you qualify "looked like a detective?" Did the video show anime or manga panels?

This is a stretch but could be Mamezuku from part 8, he comes to mind as detective-looking and, from what we have seen, he doesnt seem capable of dying.

I just remembered having watched this youtube video and a guy made a reference to him that I didn't understand. And in the comment sections there were a bunch of JoJo fans going crazy and screaming his theme song so I searched it up.
