Its a historical drama that takes place during the early 1900s in Korea (then called Cheoson). Japan and the US are both occupying the country, theres all this crazy shit going on with conspiracies and rebels and shit.
Main character is this slave child who (long story short) escaped his home country and grew up in the US to become a marine, and is currently deployed in Korea and gets caught up in the conflict somehow. And theres this Korean-Japanese samurai, a noblelady who moonlights as a gunman rebel, and some other stuff I cant really get into without spoilers. Anyways it crazy. Its all crazy. Like you think youre losing track of shit because of all the characters and twists and storylines and right when you think youre lost, something happens and youre like oh shit! Thats right! Like I really cant get into K-dramas usually. Just something about them doesnt gel with me. But this is some serious gourmet shit you guys are sleeping on. Im telling you. Im telling you.
