So the roach just happened to be right under the painting as it slid. Crazy odds. That was the last time I saw a roach in my house. Not many around, but instead there's cellar spiders and house centipedes. And stink bugs. And boxelder bugs. And orb weavers. And katydids, grasshoppers, crickets. I saw a treehopper once. Oh, and cicadas. And the occasional brown recluse. And junebugs. And carpenter bees, and mud-daubers, and yellowjackets. They can show up in even a clean house, especially if you live in a rural, wooded area like I currently do. I've been aggressive with traps, sprays, and poisoned bait, but I still see a roach every few days here.
