I'm honestly not sure how well the game would hold up by modern standards. At the very least, you would have to completely revamp sanity system because everyone who wants the game already knows exactly how it works, and all of the old tricks the game uses to make you think there's something wrong with your TV no longer apply.

Paper Mario TTYD being remastered would mean a real chance of getting a true Paper Mario sequel
