I have no doubt most media has their own personal preferences and biases for candidates, but maybe he should have thought of that and thrown some Yangbucks their way

Big media is owned by rich people who use their media to broadcast propaganda. They will always be backing establishment types who are corporate friendly.

It didn't help that they far and away:
1. Gave him the least time
2. Gave him the least questions

Even though he's polling 6th.

And let's just be clear CNN, MSNBC, etc they are giving more coverage to booker and castro even than yang, you have to admit he made more of an impression than them.

I mean one of them is a Senator and the other a former Cabinet member. Yang has no experience in government and no significant policy beyond his UBI thing

He's got more policies listed on his website than any other candidate, 150+ IIRC:

And clearly Trump shows that political history doesn't matter. So it becomes a question of if you think he's smart enough and would represent a good new way forward.

I think he's the kind of guy people wanted when they voted for trump, an outsider who isn't already owned by lobbyists. But unlike trump he's not dumb or horribly vain.

Yes, this is what happens with fringe candidates on the debate stage. Its unfortunate if youre a fan of them but they have to make the best out of the time given to them.

In a normal cycle 6th place would be fringe level. The fact that there were like, 25 dems running means nothing. The top 3 are far ahead of everyone else, and even Harris doesnt have a foothold near them anymore, though she still polls better than the rest of the field usually.

It's a centerpiece of his campaign for a reason, because he believes (justifiably) that the upcoming economic change impacts a lot of stuff. Think of how much happened just due to the real estate crisis in 2008, this is going to be bigger so having a smart solution to it is very important. Aside from climate change it's the biggest issue we are facing as a country. And speaking of climate change many people thought he performed best of anybody in the climate change town hall:

It's partially because he actually answered questions in a straightforward manner and didn't go over his time or interrupt others. It's a strategy that will appeal to some, but it doesn't get you much coverage
