Order food, ask for no tomatoes on my burger. Dont like them. Not being told there is also ketchup. Get my food, see the ketchup. Okay if I asked for no tomatoes, you should ask if its for an allergy if you include ketchup and not advertise it in the menu. Though its a preference, i send it back and ask without the ketchup. When I get my burger back, it has the tomatoes now. Also its in a spot if I remove them, i lose half the other toppings. So I send it back a second time. When it comes back a third time, its fucking cold.

I get where youre coming from if its a tomato allergy but to be fair I think most people that ask for no tomatoes just fuckin hate tomatoes and dont mind ketchup. Thats how it is for me at least.

Though that is also true, always better to be safe. What if someone who was allergic took a bite. Lawsuit.

Yeah, I don't blame you. It certainly SEEMS like an easy enough order to follow (even making their jobs easier) but some people can't do anything right that's out of the ordinary

I dated a girl that was allergic to eggs. She would have to order food with no mayonnaise. I kid you not, 9/10 it would come just covered in mayonnaise to the extent where it would be dripping off the sides it were a burger. It always felt like a big fuck you.

This is exactly why I tell anyone I order food from if there's even the remotest chance of tomatoes being involved that I have a lethal tomato allergy and that if they leave tomatoes on or put them on and then just pick them off again it might kill me.

I DO have a tomato allergy, but it's not really that bad - it just makes me throw up (and I can actually eat cooked/processed tomatoes like in sauces and ketchup), and it's not throat closing up or epi-pen worthy (though I DO know someone who needs an epi-pen for tomatoes). But when you tell someone they might literally kill you if they fuck up, it tends to panic them into actually paying attention and giving more of a shit than they otherwise would.
