I don't, I'm saying if the husband genuinely thought the victim was a threat and intended to harm his wife, because there's no way he could know any better, that it's not a hate crime. This is why the bathroom thing is a problem. No one knows what the fuck is going on.

Just because I don't entirely understand all the stuff about it doesn't mean they don't deserve respect and to be treated like people. The world is a big place with a lot of different kinds of people. A willingness to try to understand in more people will make the world a better place.

Thanks man. My niece really changed my worldview. She even as an 8 month old makes me want to be a better person. My aunts and uncles had a lot of impact on my life growing up, in a good way. I need to be that for her. I have to be a positive role model.

The whole reason the bathroom situation is so heavily controversial is because there's no way to know if someone entering the bathroom with your daughter or wife is just a trans-woman who doesn't pass very well, or if it's actually a man taking advantage of everyone being forced to give him the benefit of the doubt.

But the crazy thing is that unisex bathrooms (or literally just a single stall bathroom for both genders) have been things since outhouses. We also have coed bathrooms in colleges. Like, unless the only college to do that was the one here Im guessing it really wasnt a big deal until people decided they really needed to start paying attention to whos peeing around them, which is pretty fucking weird imo.

My local pub has a unisex bathroom with urinals and everything. No one has a problem because they're well adjusted grown adults who patron there. Go figure.
