Nope (well, not in active use anymore). I bought a new car a couple of months ago and it dropped support for iPod classics (the hard drive based ones) so now I have resorted to using Spotify in the car.

My iPod Nano is still by far the best way to listen to music when commuting or exercising. And of course, being one of the best products Apple actually made, it's been discontinued.

No. I had an ipod classic up until two years ago and then just got a 64 gig phone with 64 gig stick.

Not sure if that was directed at me given the other replies in the thread.

But to answer how I do it - I don't. I use Spotify in the car which uses 4G. I also pay premium so I can download some playlists but honestly with data so cheap nowadays I don't really think much of streaming music over 4G anymore.

I miss the simplicity of it all... Spotify in the car requires too much navigating and it makes me regret clicking LIKE on so many things over the years.

I just don't understand the people who use their phone for everything. I drain my battery enough as it is without using it for music. Also I want my entire collection with me without burning through data.

for when Im at work I keep it charged or use my iPhone smart battery case - this is fine as it means I dont need to carry multiple devices.

But in the car car I dont think Apple CarPlay allows me to have one device for calls, messages and maps and another device for Spotify (unless I manually control it via the device itself rather than the cars infotainment screen which is illegal to do whilst driving)

Not for use anymore, though I still have my previous three players in the house. I got the Creative NOMAD IIc 64MB onboard + Smart Media slot in grade 12, the Creative NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra 60GB in university, and the Creative ZEN Vision: M 60GB as a university graduation present.

Now I have a 128GB MicroSD card with over 10k songs in my phone.

I have a mp3 player.

I have about 5 in drawer. All their batteries last like 15 minutes max, and if it's cold out forget it.

I have an iPod Touch 4th gen, but I don't really use it anymore. I just use my iPad for everything now, which includes holding my music so I pretty much carry it around with me most of the time unless it'll be inconvenient in which case I just use my phone for music

It's really more just an iPhone without the phone though. I remember thinking how slim of a device it was for something capable of surfing the net, downloading music, etc...
