ViewtifulGrave 09/03/19 6:07:16 PM #1:	Anakin was the Chosen One meant to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force. George Lucas confirmed that Anakin did complete the prophecy when he threw Palpatine off of the bridge. Yet now Disney is now telling us that Palpatine lived somehow lived. Not only that, but the fact that Snoke apparently has been around since before the the Empire. So this means that Anakin never brought balance to the Force or that he wasnt the Chosen One. Could it be that they are trying to push Rey as the real/true Chosen One? I say this because Reys growth rate is incredible especially without any training. Rey casually lifting the boulders at the end of TLJ is the greatest force feat in the movies. --- You enjoy teaching high schoolers, and I'll enjoy creating my crappy manga. All said, I'd honestly rather have them bring back the Vong and focus on how the reborn Republic, with many of the same issues of the old one plus the issues of rebuilding from the Civil War, has to face this outside context threat. However, that would be a very boring movie for kids, and would likely result in politcal polarizations. Alternatively, if they wanna worldbuild, do a movie where they're rebuilding the Jedi and some bitter Imperial Warlord pulls out a lost superweapon. "Some goon finds lost imperial superweapon" is like 70% of the plots of Legacy between ROTJ and the Legacy of the Force Series anyway.
