Though this woman sounds like she doesnt like other people living lives that arent exactly the same as her life. Like she also complained about smoking, lights, and noise from others living...

Glad to see it was cancelled, it was poised to become yet another instance of the internet mob trying to ruin someone's life just because. (Though it may still happen and the fact a second event was formed shows they may still be trying)

How is it trespassing if the person with the barbeque allows visitors in the backyard?
If it's a capacity issue people can visit in shifts and bring meat and sides with them.

This stupid womans issue isn't that she is Vegan, it is her insistence that her neighbours play by her rules, trying to enforce her will on someones lives who in all honesty she has no damn right to try and change their private lives. god forbid families act like families, having BBQs and children who enjoy going outside and playing.

I have always said, I don't give a crap what your' lifestyle is like, I have no problem with anything, but the minute you try to force said lifstyle on others, THEN I have a problem.

I know vegans who never throw it in your face or demean you for eating meat, and vegans who politely advance their agenda in a non-confrontational way.

Was basically going to say something like this.

The biggest problem is that the batshit insane ones are also the ones who won't shut the fuck up about it. The sane, rational, respectful human beings who happen to also be vegans generally tend to keep it to themselves, and aren't constantly berating everyone else for their life choices or demanding that the universe revolve around them. Sane and rational vegans aren't the ones complaining about it, or making topics/posts about it every three days.

But that also means you rarely hear the sane and rational side, because it's the crazy militant assholes who are constantly screaming their opinions into the void in the desperate hope that someone will actually pay attention to them someday.

And because humans in general tend to condemn ANY group by the example of its worst members, it becomes much easier to just write off all vegans as assholes even if most of them aren't. Not every vegan is going to hang out on Tumblr and rant about carnists or bloodmouths or tell you you're exactly the same as Hitler because you like bacon.

Yeah I read about this elsewhere. She's nothing but a selfish bossy little bitch. If they were being a major nuisance or doing something dangerous then she would have some cause for complaint. But kids playing and people bbqing in their own goddamn yard is not harming or harassing anything. Supposedly the neighborhood wants to have a big get together just to piss her off.

So your saying it was perfectly alright for her to continue to sue and harass her neighbors for simply living and minding their own business and trying to accommodate her unreasonable ass? If she were MY neighbor, I'd tell her where she could shove her demands and how deep. And I certainly wouldn't accommodate her or tell my kid to stop playing.

She don't like non-intrusive neighbors, she can sell her house and move into rural land where the nearest houses are several miles apart I'm sure they have places like that somewhere in Austrailia. She's the one being the bad neighbor.
