How do you even play this game? The melee doesn't work like DMC 1 at all and guns are just too boring. There's an infested chopper boss that I just lost to because I spent 10 minutes just holding down the shoot button on it and thinking there must be something wrong so I went to youtube and yup, that's actually how you beat it, you're supposed to be bored out of your mind holding down the shoot button while tiny bits of his HP chip off. Why the fuck did they pad enemy HP like that?

I'd never play that ridiculous reboot but I think I'd probably have more fun with it than dmc 2. People underplay how bad it is, if that's even possible.

It's definitely not as good as the first game, but it's still better than DMC3.

Yeah that's kinda what's making me trudge through it, just to say I beat it so I can move on to 3 and 4, but I'm starting to reconsider if it's even worth the effort. I might as well just get a cheat code (if they still exist) to power up my weapons and breeze through the game to quickly be done with it and move on.
