I like Ryu, but I feel like Smash has way too many sword users, so I'd probably prefer another brawler.

Ive resigned myself to the fact they will all be third party, so it doesnt really matter. I havent really cared about any of the characters so far.

Id perfer if Ryu was a assist trophy (his NES incarnation) he simply jump and flip while throwing windwill shuriken and inferno ninpo. Im honestly surprised hes not in the game since Tecmo seemed to have a decent relationship with Nintendo.
As far as him being a character, I dont think theres much he could bring that others already do, unless they give him all his NG2 weapons and turn him into bayo 2 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Would be pretty cool. Really want Doomguy or Doomslayer in it and don't really care for Ryu, but his moveset should be really cool being a ninja and all.
