Sometimes I do, but most of the time I don't. My voice is kinda weird....

No, because I am technically muted. If I try to speak it sounds like whispers.

And the majority of the games I play with voice chat turned on it's a bunch of inappropriate non-sense from kids//toxic people. That, and I try to avoid verbal harassment. So mostly I just use text chat using the keyboard.

I used to during the 360/PS3 era. After the party chat took over you don't even hear anyone talking on the mics anymore.

In games that require quick communication.
If you don't, you're putting your team at a disadvantage.

English isn't my native language and talking to randoms while gaming online helped me improve my accent by a lot.

I dont play online games other than WoW (usually play single player stuff) and only use voice chat with my guild mates. My husband is in the guild too and everyones respectful

The only person I voice chat with in WoW is my brother but we're not in the same guild. He's much more hardcore than I am, a lot of the time you create drama just by existing.

Yeah Im really lucky the guild Im in are more mature people. Were all adults of various ages and theyre pretty casual. We do heroic raids and m+ but everyone is at different skill levels and generally respectful to each other.

Just with people I know usually. If I do competitive in overwatch I use it too, but I havent been in quick play voice chat in over a year

Usually with people i know but if its a game that requires a bit more team work ill plug it in to chat with randoms. Ive noticed a lot of people are silent until you start saying what to do and its pretty effective even when they arent responding. They still listen
