This is it exactly. He's most of all boring as fuck. On top of the fact he plays on a team no one cares about and never won.

Love em or hate em Yankees are the center of the baseball world. On top of the fact that time and again Jeter came through in the clutch plus the dynasty, it had people talking whether they loved it or hated it.

Trout is a talented guy that does nothing to move the needle. On top of the fact that baseball itself as a sport has become mind numbing to watch with almost no personalities whatsoever, guys who dont give a fuck about playing because of massive guaranteed contracts, and the fact that its totally devoid of rivalries AND that the average age of players keeps increasing, its hard to care. It's a sport that seemingly has no vibe these days. And I loved baseball back in the day

There is a youtuber named Jomboy. He has kinda been giving the players personalities and made the game enjoyable to many with his breakdown. Too bad the teams and MLB hate him since he is exposing the umpires BS.

Only made the playoffs 4 times with SF in, which is one more time than he made the playoffs with Pittsburgh. He had arguably the greatest playoff performance ever in 2002 and his team still lost the World Series.

And everyone still knew who he was. It's not about playing on bad teams/

Honestly, Mike Trout doesn't need to dance like a monkey to impress y'all. If you can't appreciate his level of talent without him acting like somebody he is not, then that's on you. Plus, it gives me an opportunity to see who the fraud fans are when they try to argue with me that Harper is better than him.
