According to the potato sticks hubs bought they're known in the state of California to cause cancer. Not even because of something being added, but just for being cooked basically.

There's so many people online selling vape stuff with all kinds of weird stuff in it.
IDK about nothing, since vaping involves pulling random substances into one's lungs. But for sure I could see it as a huge factor.

But the alternative for some isn't exactly better?

I've been vaping for around 4 years now. Helped me quit smoking and is the only thing that worked. After a few months my cough went away and I stopped coughing up junk. My sense of smell returned and I also felt way more healthy/more energy. I've felt zero issues from vaping so far? So iunno.

When I started vaping there was a lot of talk about something called popcorn lung that was attributed to vaping. I never hear about that anymore.

Adding, the only thing besides popcorn lung which was dropped fast was something about making sure not to get too cold or you might be more prone to pneumonia. Haven't heard that one in a while either.

The exact chemical causing it is called diacetyl, but the name comes from the employees that got popcorn lung from working for the popcorn manufacturers. It was a component of the fake butter flavoring. It was also in some early flavors of vaping fluid. The good fluid makers have removed that ingredient.

The CDC is being purposefully vague about the cause as I am quite sure these kids are either lying or didn't know what was in what they were vaping. Although vaping has been proven to be 95%+ safer than smoking you still have to be vaping things that don't kill you. What the CDC and Big Pharma forget to tell anyone is vaping devices have been used for a couple of decades to administer many medications using the very same base chemicals we vapers use. It's sad to see the number of people drinking the FDA's KoolAid.

The most likely thing is they were vaping a toxic chemical that only an idiot would vape, some form of CBD oil - no oils can be vaped safely, or some drug like Oxycodone or Fentanyl.

It's Big Tobacco and Big Pharma plus several states that owe a ton of money on the Tobacco settlement bonds they sold that really have the biggest vested interest in seeing vaping fail. I feel bad for all the people that just don't get it and will be killing themselves smoking. I'm good, I've stocked up everything I'll need for the next 15 years or more, which should be all I need at age 65 now.

Safer than smoking is a meaningless statement and when similar devices are used to administer medications, it's generally not a long-term, continuous activity (and, for that matter, it's medicinal rather than recreational)

There just was an obscure update stating the "kids"(junkies come in all ages) bought the vape juice off the street with illegal drugs in it and has been determined as the true cause of their injuries. The original report was all about the teens involved because all the negative campaigning has been about "OMG SAVE THE CHILDREN". Ignorance is bliss I guess.

And for most of us vaping isn't recreational, it saved our lives from death by lung cancer and all the other shit Big Tobacco puts in their crap.
