Oh you're only in the tutorial? Do the four temples and you can leave. That was the annoying part.
Just a bit of advice, th eblood moon mechanic refreshes all items that aren't in chests, so if you see a nifty flame sword, it resets every blood moon.

Good luck, have fun, hinox is a bitch.

This was my final opinion as well. BotW was so, so close to taking the crown, but it tripped hard at the finish line with a lackluster 1st Ganon phase; a very disappointing final boss that felt like it was ripped directly from the 3D Zeldas that BotW tried so damn hard up to that point to distance itself from; and an equally lackluster ending. I also felt that it was a copout to have Zelda be, you know, just fine and not having aged a day after 100 years, instead of turning out to be either an old lady or a ghost. Everyone else from Link's original time is either dead, a wrinkled prune, a Zora, or needed a Shrine of Resurrection or a de-aging rune to keep their youthful looks; having Zelda be just fine after all that without a hint of explanation was a pretty big letdown. Normally I don't go into a Zelda game looking for a deep story, but for the first time since Wind Waker, I actually found myself getting pretty invested in BotW's story and worldbuilding, so maybe that's why I was extra let-down by the endgame.

Just completed the Seek Out Impa quest. She did not tell me if the Triforce of Wisdom would safely predict the King's return, however. Then again, the King is dead.

There are things about this game that I like, though at times it feels like work moreso than play.

Absolutely. As far as a final dungeon goes in and of itself, I haven't enjoyed one that much since first playing through Kefka's Tower when I was eleven. That too might have contributed to the letdown I felt when it became time for the final fight.

Going the "proper route" through the castle was fucking great. Starting at the island prison outside and riding the cart on the tracks into the building and entering through the castle dungeon and making my way up was an experience.

First time through I just climbed up and used the gale to go straight to his room.

Waiting for my Switch to charge, and then I'm going to play some more at the coffee shop.

Unless something suddenly blows me away I have a hunch this game will be an 8/10 for me (same score I gave Mario Odyssey). It definitely has some impressive elements (the combat, graphics), even if I'm not going batty for it the way a lot of people have.

BotW is great. Def my fave Zelda game besides WW.

Being able to explore the world as you please, and do everything in any order you want was great fun. There was always something or someone to come across that gave you more incentive to keep on looking around.

Definitely should be called "Distractions of the Wild," though.

You gotta get the water from the elephant's trunk to spin the wheel. When it spins, eventually the ball will slide down into the slot and open the gate. You can either time-lock the ball in place long enough to get it, or just glide into the opening.

Zelda and Ganon are not even in physical form, while magically fighting inside that cocoon thing. It's like the end of Oma Desala vs Anubis.

Stamina is definitely more useful than hearts overall.

What I do is get the 10 hearts for the Master Sword (on the top of the three you start with) so that's 40 shrines right there. Then once I have the MS I focus on stamina, then get the rest of the hearts after that (don't forget you can always swap them at Hateno)

Most enemies will kill you regardless of how many hearts you have early on, so it doesn't make that big of a difference until later when you get better armor and upgrades and shit like that
