The thing that baffled me about that one was that they marketed it as a remake. Apart from the fact that it had Jason in it, which is understandable since he is Friday the 13th now, they literally tell the story of the first movie as a ghost story around a campfire in the beginning. Its rather sad that every generation since then hasn't had its own equally brilliant but unique Body Snatchers movie. That'd be a heck of a series!
