Nah homie. Soulsilver/heart gold were vastly superior remakes.

Also, emerald is objectively the best "third version" pokemon game, and it's not even my favorite, that goes to platinum.

I never understood the point of giratina too. One of the most pointless legendaries. It neither excels nor sucks, it's just mind numbingly mediocre. Especially since dialga and palkia, also from that Gen, are arguably some of the best legendaries in the entire series.

Emerald, Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver (which had nearly everything Crystal had in them), and Black/White 2 disagree.

Black and White had far too many differences for them to be consolidated into a single Grey version. And since we got direct sequels out of them instead, things worked out better.

Z was very much likely planned due to all the hints and hanging threads left behind in X/Y, but it was likely scrapped so they could focus on Sun/Moon as the 20th anniversary titles. Elements of what likely would have been in Z ended up being used in the anime and in Sun/Moon.

Antimatter, contrasted by Dialga and Palkia representing the two elements that form the basis of matter. This is why it resided in the Distortion World, a world of chaos and disorder.
