Like my dad has a degree from one of the best universities in Korea(it's kind of fallen from grace lately, but it was fighting for the top spots when he went through), with a sponsor. It still took 9 years, and about half my dad's paycheck every year(he was making a little under 6 figures in the late 90's-early 00's) for us to get our green card.
