President Trump said today that he has directed top US Navy Officials to RESCIND a military award to the Prosecutors in the trial of Navy Seal Platoon Leader EDDIE GALLAGHER after he was ACQUITTED of the murder and attempted murder of civilians and a 16 y/o ISIS terrorist!!

This is the third time he has publicly commented on the case against the Special Operations Chief who was accused of war crimes while deployed in Iraq

The military jury acquitted him of the murder but convicted him of unlawfully posing for photos with the dead body.

He was also found not guilty of attempted murder charges from wounding 2 unarmed civilians, a school girl and elderly man who were shot from a sniper's perch as much of the testimony against him were his fellow sailors who were given immunity from prosecution

Trump said "the prosecutors who lost the case were ridiculously given a Navy Achievement Medal" and he has ordered Navy Secretary Richard Spencer to "immediately withdraw and rescind the awards"

He also criticized them for giving immunity to the sailors and took credit for RELEASING Gallagher from solitary confinement and called him a "hero of the nation" and said he was very happy for him and his family

The 40 y/o combat veteran was spared prison after the shocking testimony of his former sailors who said he went on an insane bloodbath where he bragged about killing up to 200 people and shot at random civilians.

The most damning was that he bragged to them that he stabbed a 16 y/o captured teen where the pictures of his body were shown as evidence being dragged around by him and he has admitted himself that he slit his throat..

But the case fell apart when one of the medics said HE was the one who killed the teen and said Gallagher is innocent and a "family man" despite stating otherwise. Gallagher says the disgruntled subordinates fabricated this over his "tough leadership"

Trump and many conservative pundits congratulated Eddie on his "bravery" for America and praised the decision to release a "fine man".

It's the Bed of Nails Theory. He has so many scandals that it spreads out outrage and oversight.
Or maybe it's just that his base is a cult and won't hold him to account for literally anything.
