CEO Bob Iger said "We're so grateful for Russi's talent as well as the tremendous spirit and great joy she brought to everything she did. It was a privilege to have known her and an honour to have worked with her. Russi will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to her family and friends, along with our deepest condolences" She beat out 200 other hopefuls to voice the role in her 1986 audition and since then has appeared in hundreds of Disney projects including tv shows, theme park experiences, animated shorts and theatrical films She met her husband, Wayne Allwine who voiced Mickey Mouse in 1977 and remained married until his death in 2009 As years went by, she got a regular voice acting role as Martin Prince as well as twins, Sherri and Terri on The Simpsons as Executive Producer Al Jean took to social media to praise her for giving life to the nerdy character in springfield. I still enjoy the show a lot, but I have always felt they should end it while the main actors are still alive.
