I feel like maybe there should be special restrictions as to which people can adopt them, though - similar to gun control or child adoption. It's all in how they were brought up. Out of all the thousands of pitbull's I've handled I've never had an incident or been bitten or attacked. I don't have any stake in this discussion, but I always just see one side with anecdotal evidence only. because other breeds can be aggressive doesn't not negate the potential of aggression from pitbulls at all. all it means is pitbulls can be aggressive and the other breeds can be as well. it's not a contest So other breeds shouldn't be pets, either? It is simply the animal's instinct to show aggression and attack people or other animals.
