I always thought I'd have to pay $1000+ each way to fly to Europe, but I recently found a site with multiple trips (Even non-stop flights) to europe for as little as $250.

I have/had family in Kirkham England I'd like to track down if any of em are still alive, but I'd like to explore many places over there as well. Gonna do research on how to travel around/explore Europe cheap, see if I can set up a trip for a few thousand in the next few years while I am still young enough to travel, and I can still actually see things (probably have less then 5 years of normalish eyesight left).

Not sure what it is, but costs to fly places seem to have drastically dropped in the last few years, I swear I couldn't find anything heading over there even a year ago for less then like $900 or so.....to the point I was thinking of doing a 1 way cruise, then wait for a repositioning cruise back after 3 months instead (the Cruises were $1500 each, for 15 days each way.....so I would end up with 15 day cruises each way for only $500 more then a direct flight).

Never ended up doing that obviously. So much better to fly for $250 and then see if I can do bed and breakfasts etc for like $20-30 a day, or rent a small room or something and use it as a base.
