My parents, and especially my dad, absolutely despises the man and has since the 90s at least, and I remember being younger going to Atlantic City and such and he would always make fun of and mock Trump putting his name and face on everything.

My parents are basically centrists that do not give a shit about politics. they did end up voting Bernie then Hillary though.

Ignore their political views for the most part. I do try to get my mom to think critically about some issues, and call out blatant inaccuracies that Trump spouts. She doesn't really like Trump, though, and mainly votes for him because of his professed pro-life stance. I try to get her to think about other issues, but not being pro-life is a deal breaker for her.
