And to answer your question, idiots feel the need to be a part of something, and pretending to be mad about things nobody give a shit about is the easiest way to do this nowadays. I like to think it's it's form of collective hypnosis, but no, it seems people are just getting dumber. Sadly calling the snowflakes out on this just causes more to REEEEEE their way in to condemn you, and it just escalates the problem.
