83. Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones - 2002

I don't like sand. The universe building in this and Phantom Menace is cool, but George Lucas went a little overboard on stuff no one cares about.

Why were the Mets the villains in Rookie of the Year? They were awful in the early 90's. Anyway, Major League is an excellent cast of stereotypes and gimmicks. Cerrano is probably my favorite.

Fantastic cast here too. Danny Devito as the Penguin is maybe the best obvious casting you could go with. Also Christopher Walken steals pretty much every scene he is in, as he often does. What's the deal with the penguins though, randomly some are real and some are like... robots?

80. Hitch - 2005

This movie should be forced watching for every person that is awkward at dating. It's super cheesy but the stuff applies almost universally. Will Smith is fantastic in this too, closer to his goofy Fresh Prince self rather than his serious roles.

Fun stoner comedy. The whole scene with George W Bush is fantastic. The 3rd one should never have been made though.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. It has a lot of good laughs, even with the ever awful Danny McBride. Like usual he is the worst part of every film he is in. Also killing Michael Cera like 10 minutes in is solid. Constantly pointing out James Franco is a douche is also a strong choice.

The end credits dance number is also excellent.

I love a good disaster movie. The visuals in 2012 are fantastic. The small details like people fleeing while the entire city of LA basically flips. Also Danny Glover fighting an aircraft carrier is excellent. Okay its not so much a fight as getting crush, but still.

This movie was a fucking trip when I first saw it. I had no idea what to expect and it just sorta went all kinds of directions. Very enjoyable on many levels. Hit Girl was fantastic. Nic Cage of course killed it.

From age 3 to 8 TMNT was my life. The toys, the show, the movies. The fight with Shredder at the end is super good.

I went into this expecting an awful movie. Instead I had a blast. Shame it did awful in theaters and we won't ever see the payoff to the ending tease. Oh well.

Great in the theaters movie. Best entry in the series since the original. Running full speed in the woods in heels, super legit.

Also the raptors and motorbike scene, while cheesy, is super awesome, gets me pumped.

The best SNL movie. They actually managed to capture what made the sketch great and stretched it out. Probably more a credit to Mike and Dana than anything. Also Ed O'Neill is fantastic.

Remember when this was on VHS and its was 2 tapes? This is a long movie but enjoyable the entire way through. Mel Gibson does some fantastic faces whenever anyone betrays him, which is constantly.

The worst of the good Rocky movies. As I said in the Rocky V write up, I love this series other than V. The stuff with Hogan was silly and fun. Mr. T was believable as a monster. Eye of the Tiger.

Omg its rated out of 11 on IMDB!

Anyway this entire mockumentary is basically perfect. The deadpan low key everything. The casual reference to drummers dying in a plethora of ways.

What a fun ride. Probably the funniest super hero film I have seen. Great action too. This movie pushed Thor up to my favorite character in the MCU.
