Balrog0 07/11/19 10:36:19 AM #1:	I'm not sure that enjoy is exactly the right word. I get a lot of satisfaction from successfully building bridges between different ideological camps, especially in these times. Here in Arkansas it is impossible to pursue state-level policy change without any support from right wing groups. Right now I'm working on convincing my boss to work together with a Koch-funded organization on fighting a sales tax extension for highway funding. And I did actually convince him we should work with right wing pro-family organizations on paid family leave policies. I dunno if that's going to ultimately win us either of those fights, but I don't think that there are very many people who are really trying to do this kind of work any more. Especially with the presidential stuff sucking all the oxygen out of the room.
