Board 8 > Board 8 Pokemon League - Kanto Regionals Sign-Ups

Welcome to the Board 8 Pokemon battling league! Over the course of about a month, we'll be doing some battling in the Kanto region on Pokemon Showdown. The idea is on the following Google spreadsheet every time you win against a fellow trainer just mark it down in the spreadsheet. Then at the end of the time period we'll do a tournament with everyone's win count being used for the seeding. Once enough people sign up, we'll center in on start and finish dates. Still open to suggestions on the finer details, so feel free to discuss down below.

This particular region will be using the Stadium OU format on Pokemon Showdown.

Yeah like an open tournament. I think it's a cool way to have various battles going on throughout, so people don't have to wait for their battle partner to be on.

With it being the Kanto region, what's your rule on the games. I don't think I'll participate at first if we're doing RBY and then GSC, but if we're allowed to do FR/LG for Kanto, just keep our teams to be Kanto specific Pokemon, I'd participate.

I figured it'd be kinda fun to start with the Gen 1 metagame, just to see how it grows over the course of the generations, but if enough people would rather do FR/LG I wouldn't be opposed to switching it.
