The only reason I'd even entertain the idea of a MG or MG2 remake is that Kojima isn't there to fuck up the story anymore with dumbass retcons.

Truthfully, I think it's time to either go in a completely new direction (or keep going with Rising) or just let the series die. It's just become too fucking messy and stupid

I've only played the first one and didn't finish it (but acquired a Vita and want to buy the MGS games) and I don't want to play remakes. I want to play the originals.
