Unlike at the office where we had vending machines and all sorts of junk food in our kitchen. She feels caged in her house as she's not very social and work used to be the only real reason for her to get out. That's definitely something I'd love to do one day, though. The wife and I plan to have our own kids soon and I'd love to see them more often when I do have them as my work schedule has me out of the house a lot on trips. I'd love to just work at my own pace from the house, like I used to when I was an online student at university. --- Congratulations! For me I commute 2 - 2.5 hours a day so telecommuting is just more efficient use of my time. I truly wish I could convince management to allow a solid 2 days a week minimum telecommute. I've proven I'm networked in all the time and manage all my business and than some. However, some of the older managers just don't totally realize the value in remote work. Yeah I need social interaction too. But I networked so much at my last job, lots of people want to keep in touch. So I have a lunch planned with someone every week. Some are my old coworkers that Im friends with, and others are former clients in the area that just want to keep in touch. I havent had time for video games in weeks. I dont have a hard time focusing on my work for the most part, because of that drive to make a sale and not get fired lol.
