I heard that he made a suicide note a few days ago but I only just heard that he went missing and possibly went through with it. So what actually happened?

They found his personal items alongside the Manhattan bridge

According to a report by the New York Post, police found a number of personal belongings owned by the YouTube star scattered around the Manhattan Bridge. The items included Etika's New York state driver's license, alongside several other cards, and his personal wallet.

The report also said that they found his cell phone, his Nintendo Switch games console, and a laptop bag containing a shirt, a pair of underwear, shorts, and some headphones.

That seems strange though. If he was going to jump then why would he bring all of that stuff with him? And why would he leave his wallet and id there? The cops would be able to figure out whose car it was just from looking at his license plate. Then again, if he didnt jump then he probably wouldnt leave his wallet and cards behind. Plus he has a history of mental illness... yeah, that doesnt look good

i dont know this person either.
the way he talked about what kept him going is heartbreaking. never going see what happens in the anime he watched and apologizing to his family.

people saying on twitter it takes days for the body to rise and divers+resources cant be sent in the water to find him unless he was actually threatening to kill himself.

sometimes when people make this decision they make sure the cops know it's them, this one time like a decade ago an up and coming airplane instructor screwed up and got her student killed, she was about to lose her licence and everything so she wrote a note, managed to tie herself up and faked her own murder, to this day nobody knows why she staged her death as a crime scene but the running theory is she didn't want to shame her family by going down as a suicide. The family and friends of the student her incompetence killed had little sympathy they were extremely enraged at her as they wanted to take her for everything she had and let her rot in prison for life.

Apparently Venus Project said he's doing fine and heading to their HQ, so I guess he's a part of them if they're telling the truth.

If that's true, he might actually just be disappearing. I just recently saw his suicide video and, while it seemed pretty genuine, disappearing and starting anew is a way to wash all this away, instead of suicide. "Etika" is gone, but he might start over again as a new person, away from the internet. At least, I'd hope that's what he's doing.

This is a conspiracy theory some of his clown fans who still think all of this is an ARG cocked up. None of that has been verified in the slightest. I mean, its better than the alternative but it seems very unlikely.

I don't even watch him or am a fan of him, it was just something I came up with as soon as I saw his suicide video. It's honestly what I would hope to see out of this, because the alternatives are...not pretty for different reasons.

Tall dark skinned, darked haired male with a white t shirt (what he was wearing in the I'm Sorry vid) was pulled from the river not far from where his belongings were found. Waiting on the autopsy so they release the name. I truly thought it was another stunt. Gonna be devistated if it was him.
