Scams aren't too hard to spot. Look at pics. Ask q's. Check feedback. Of all the items I bought there only once did I end up with a bootleg cart or anything 'not as described'.

Cool. 1st thing I ever bought was a sale on some SNES games. Ended up getting Chrono Trigger a short time later after I found out ebay "worked"

Most issues are resolved very easily with them. My only issue is when I could only get a refund instead of a product at a price I purchased it. I really wanted it and it was a great price, so I lost out.

I've been using eBay to buy and sell for around 11 years now. The only issues I have had is from scammer buyers. Maybe once buying a item wasn't quite as good as described but pretty much a perfect buying experience.

If I get anymore loser buyers I'm going to stop selling on eBay though.

I've only had a few bad experiences. I had one game bought didn't work 100% (Megaman X collection). Not all the features and games would load

Another person "accidentally" shipped the wrong item 3 times. Finally admitted they never had the original item to begin with

Weirdest one was Here Comes the Pain for the ps2. Bought it from someone in Pennsylvania. I live in NY. Supplied a tracking number. So far so good. Item shipped via UPS and is then brought to Texas because? Then Seattle? And finally somewhere in the Midwest where it sat for 6 months.

The guy I bought it off from DEMANDED I give him positive feedback. I refused until I got my game. He sent 3 or 4 threatening emails until I got Ebay involved. They shut his account down (don't know if it was temporary or not) and I eventually got my game in one piece.
