Buffy the Vampire Tramp, oopsa a poo, Slayer star, Kristy Swanson, a fervent Hollywood Republican has blasted a teacher at her son's school who claims they told students they do NOT have to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance!!

The 49 y/o hag was responding to Right Wing Commentator Charlie Kirk who said "Schools are rapidly being taken over by radical leftists and advised parents to homeschool their children. We can't trust our schools to do the job anymore"

Kristy, whose 12 y/o son Magnus with former figure skater Lloyd Eisler agreed and said "True, i just learned the other day from a friend my son that there is a teacher at their school that will not stand for the pledge of allegiance every morning. He also said, she told the kids in that home room class, they don't have to stand either if they don't want too."

Kristy did not name the school in question to Dailymail and refuses to answer anymore questions.

She made headlines in May singing up to play fired FBI lovers Lisa Page and Peter Strzok in a Pro-Trump dramagic reading of their notorious texts called "FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers"

She said she was the subject of death threats for backing Trump

Twitter users were quick to jump on this as they said to not stand for the allegiance was freedom fo speech nor is it illegal as they told her to take ti me to read historic documents instead of #FAKEPOTUS

But she quickly snapped back and said "There is no need to be snippy with me. All i did was tell what was happenign at my son's school. No matter what country i am in, i personally stand for their anthem and show respect. I expect a teacher in our public school to be a good example and show respect."

People wondered why she feels she can dictate whether a teacher sits or stands during pledge as Kristy said their bank note says "In God We Trust" and tells liberals to boycott ATM machines if that's how they feel.

Kristy believes the standing for the anthem SHOULD be enforced AND mandatory and they should PRAY everyday they don't live in a "communist country"

Should standing for the pledge of allegiance be ENFORCED?.

Pledge of Allegiance is a scam to sell flags, and not only is it a violation of free speech, it's the enforcement of a government religion/ideology

The Supreme Court has repeatedly decided that students don't have the same speech rights while in school that they do on the outside.

Isn't it already enforced?

If you tell every student they don't have to stand up and pledge then they won't.

While that's true, it has also been upheld that students don't have to pledge to the flag since the 1940's. So this isn't exactly a recent thing and a school telling students this just means they don't want to lose money in a lawsuit that will go no where if they try to make them stand.

So youre in favor of mindless nationalism being forced upon students?

Last option for me.

Wouldnt mind them taking the under go part out though. Iirc it wasnt in the orginal version.

I wasnt only made to do that in school though we also had to stand and remain silent for the national anthem everday. At one school I went to anyways. Figured it had something to do with a good chunk of the student being from the nearby military base.

You mean am I in favor of history classes being taught in schools? And variations of social studies/civics?

And even excluding the studies themselves (which, by the way, every nation either deliberately or inadvertently does to some extent), having the pledge and the flag in schools is *already* doing that. That's not even touching upon teachers forcing students to remove political clothing, etc, that disagrees with the teachers' own credos, which is a far greater example of restricting political thought in schools and encouraging a mindless observation of politics.

While the show eventually took things in weird directions, I didn't think that highly of the film either.
